Waltraud "Wally" Gannon Bio:

In 2007, Waltraud Gannon became the only Board Certified Hair Colorists in Augusta, GA.  Wally (as her clientèle adoringly calls her), German by birth, studied Hairdressing before coming to the United States.  Her post high school training consisted of three year apprenticeship in Kaiserlautern, Germany, after which she studied hair coloring and hair cutting under a Master Hairdresser, owner of an executive hair salon.  She is constantly attending classes to better serve you.  Her most recent classes were in Atlanta, Los Angles, Chicago, Washington D.C, and Rome, Italy where she learned the latest color products and techniques that are available.  As the owner of Ambience Hair Color Studio, Wally is here to make sure that everything about your visit is perfect.

Layton Chavis Bio:

Licensed in both Georgia and North Carolina, Layton has a total of 29 years behind the salon chair.  He also adds to his credentials receiving his certification from the prestigious American Board of Certified Haircolorist. His ability to see as an artist and listen to the needs of the client, supports his talent to give color and shape to match and enhanced his ability in hairstyling.  Over the years Layton has spent in the industry....multiple classes, seminars and hands on training has again, enhanced his ability to deliver quality work.  Wheather it be casual, contemporary, or even Avant- Garde, Layton gives with confidence and impeccable attention to all his clients needs.

Victoria Doucet Bio:

Victoria has been certified in all areas of Cosmetology for over 20 years.  With knowledge, creativity, a willingness to listen and compromise Victoria consistently provided quality services.  She individualizes her services to suit a client’s personal style as well as their lifestyle requirements for both ease-of-care and maintenance.  She ensure my haircuts to hold their shape for 4 to 8 weeks and finish in a way that the design looks as good growing out as it did when it was first created.  She is adept at natural highlights, high/lowlights, gray reduction, tone on tone, reverse highlights, tint back, color retouch, single process and double process color.  To schedule a consultation or book an appointment call (706) 733-2220.

Cassie Gress Bio:

With a little less than two years as a licensed cosmetologist Cassie has come a long way in such a short time. Cassie studied cosmetology at the Graham Webb Academy in Washington D.C. for two years.  She acquired her diploma and her license in March 2011.  Since then she started her career here at Ambience in Janurary 2012. She was mentored by Waltraud to become an American Board Certified Haircolorist.  Cassie was one of thirteen to pass the exam in November 2012 and is now a American Board Certified Harcolorist.
